Because she often wears her hair tied back, there were noticeable bends and waves through the mid-lengths caused by repeatedly tying the hair.
The ends were also beginning to feel dry, rough, and prone to tangling.

With fine hair, trying to straighten waves or dents too aggressively can easily place unnecessary stress on the hair.
Using chemicals that are too strong or applying too much heat may result in damage, even when the goal is simply to create a smoother finish.
